From Wikipedia Encyclopedia: The House Mouse (Mus musculus) is one of the most numerous species of the genus Mus commonly termed a mouse. It is a small mammal and a rodent. In most parts of the world, they live in close proximity to humans. So the litte creatures have invaded our house! Honestly, I can handle most any animal or rodent but there is something about mice with their beady little eyes and poop droppings everywhere that just absolutely gross me out.
This past week Dave was out of town in Canada and one was caught in the glue pad next to the fridge. I didn't enter the kitchen for over a day and just kept piling things everywhere so my peripheal vision wouldn't catch site of the little critter. I almost had to ask a good friend of ours that lives down the street to come rescue me and get rid of it when my unsuspecting brother in-law came bye to drop something off and I bribed him with dinner if he would dispose of it.
Charlie (our dog) has definitely not passed the mice dog test as he hasn't detected anything. Hopefully, they will find somewhere else to live as the weather warms up or I might be knocking on someone elses door with the girls in tow to spend the night.
